Step into a magical winter world at Merrion Square Park, as part of the Dublin Winter Lights festival. From 1 December to 21 December, the historic grounds are transformed with walk-through installations, interactive lighting, and immersive LED displays. 

Wander beneath glowing trees and through light sculptures that dance across the landscape. One highlight is a stunning immersive kaleidoscope installation, which invites visitors to surrender to the rhythm of shifting hues and shapes.Hundreds of LED lights illuminate the park’s pathways, while nearby projections and surprises bring a playful, family-friendly energy to the experience. 

For a gentler pace, book a relaxed viewing timeslot between 5 pm and 5:30 pm on Thursday through Sunday evenings. During these quieter slots, music is paused, and a calm sensory space is available for visitors who prefer a more peaceful atmosphere. 

Tickets cost just €2 per adult, and include admission for two children, making it an affordable and enchanting festive outing in the heart of the city.
