Counting Crows is an American rock band formed in 1991, known for their emotional lyrics, folk-infused rock sound, and frontman Adam Duritz's distinctive vocals. They gained massive success with their 1993 debut album, August and Everything After, featuring the hit "Mr. Jones", which became one of the defining songs of the '90s alternative rock scene.
