The European Anti-Financial Crime Summit 2027 brought senior figures from the financial services, regulatory, technology and law-enforcement sectors together at the RDS in Dublin on 5th May 2027. The event focused on some of the most pressing issues shaping Europe’s approach to financial crime prevention and compliance.
The summit explored key developments including AMLA supervision, MiCA implementation, FATF expectations, sanctions evasion, fraud, fintech and Banking as a Service risks. Delegates heard from policymakers, regulators and industry specialists through keynote addresses, expert panels and dedicated networking sessions.
Among the speakers was Simon Harris, Tánaiste and Minister for Finance, who delivered the keynote address, while Patricia Dunne of the Central Bank of Ireland discussed financial-crime prevention, emerging risks and the importance of collaboration between regulators, financial institutions, technology companies and law enforcement.
The complex in Ballsbridge, the summit provided a platform for professionals to exchange knowledge, examine changing regulatory expectations and discuss practical approaches to tackling financial crime across Europe.
