Lewis Capaldi is a Scottish singer‑songwriter and musician. He’s known for his soulful pop voice, guitar and piano skills, active since 2013.

Debut single “Bruises” (2017) was the fastest track by an unsigned artist to reach 25 million Spotify streams. His 2019 breakout “Someone You Loved” topped the UK Singles Chart for seven weeks, hit #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100, and earned Grammy and Brit Award nominations – winning Song of the Year at the Brits. Debut album Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent (May 2019) sat at UK #1 for six weeks and became the UK’s best‑selling album in both 2019 and 2020.

His second album, Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent (May 2023), featured three UK #1 singles – “Forget Me”, “Pointless” and “Wish You the Best” – and topped charts globally. In June 2023, Capaldi stepped away from performing after a challenging show at Glastonbury, citing anxiety and a Tourette’s flare-up. He took time off for his mental health and therapy. He credits therapy, including support from BetterHelp, for helping him "be a musician again".

Lewis's raw honesty about Tourette’s, anxiety, and therapy deeply resonated with fans. His musical vulnerability, witty interviews, and chart success make him one of the UK's most compelling new generations of pop artists.
