Peter Michael Davidson (born November 16, 1993, in Staten Island, New York) is an American comedian, actor, and writer renowned for his candid, self-effacing comedy style. He gained fame as a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 2014 to 2022, joining at age 20 and becoming one of the youngest in the show’s history. He first appeared onscreen in 2013 on MTV’s Failosophy, Guy Code, Wild ’n Out, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Pete later joined SNL in 2014 and rose to prominence with his brutally honest, confessional comedy focused on mental health, relationships, and everyday dysfunction.
Pete released stand‑up specials: Pete Davidson: SMD (2016), Alive from New York (2020), and Turbo Fonzarelli (2024). He starred and co-wrote in Big Time Adolescence (2019) and The King of Staten Island (2020), the latter drawing heavily on his own life. More recent roles include the Peacock series Bupkis (2023), voicing in Dog Man (2025), and appearing in the horror film The Home (2025).
