The Emergency Services & Military Expo at the RDS in Dublin is a dedicated event for Ireland’s emergency services and military community. The 2026 Dublin edition took place on 19 March, bringing together serving and former members of An Garda Síochána, the Defence Forces, Fire and Emergency Services, the Prison Service, Coast Guard, and ambulance and medical services.

Designed around career development and professional support, the expo offers opportunities to explore recruitment, upskilling and training, career transition, and networking. Visitors can also access one-to-one coaching, CV clinics, financial and wellbeing advice, and information from service and industry professionals. A dedicated Tech & Equipment area adds a practical focus, showcasing tools and technology relevant to frontline roles.

The RDS event also featured the launch of Ireland’s Blue Light Awards, recognising contributions across the blue-light services. With talks, panel discussions, exhibitors and networking opportunities, the expo provides a useful forum for those considering their next step, whether within their current service or beyond it.
